These look really good, but there is a guy on here a few weeks ago w/ a similar thread. He the stock hummer mounting bracket and slid the stock tailight into it flush. It looked really good. I think I like it better than the LED setup. You should look back, I will try to find this, not sure if I know how to post. HUBDEEP is his user name. Here is the link...hopefully it works http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f59/show-us-your-tail-lights-168102/

I've added corner guards since my original post in this thread:

![]() These were made by Off Your Rocker. I painted then with Rustolelum Texture paint...he'd had them painted Chili Pepper Red to match his rig. ![]()

Finally got around to flush mounting my tail lights. I like how they turned out.

I am currently thinking of doing this because I like the stock look. The only problem is that I have a 2005 and the evap canister is in the passenger side corner (currently in the way). Has anyone done this on a jeep with the evap canister there? The mounts for the canister are all in the same direction which means it might be possible to space the 'junk' forward. But would it have to move far enough that it would be visible in the wheel well opening. Would the tire hit it?
Has anyone with the evap canister in the corner tried this?

[offtopic]
A little offtopic but - instead of drilling more holes into the tub to mount the plate (when you take the plastic plate holder off) just drill holes into the plate. That's what I did and it worked out great. [/offtopic]
