Wow! I love early 30's rods, and I don't even mind the ratrods much at all. But I've never thought of having a jeep chopped like that, quite interesting, and it seems to work pretty good if being low and chopped is your thing! If I want low and chopped though, I think I'd go for a 49 mercury :-D

Yeah, but the first one is a Randy Ellis build. You probably can't afford it, so it is not really a "rat rod". They were supposed to be cheap builds, which this was not. Built here in the Phx area. Sweet ride for sure.

That 1st one was in JP magazine a while back I believe. I'm pretty sure it has air bags or something to raise it to drive.

interesting, the jeep provides a surprisingly interesting shape for a hotrod :-) That last photo, man needs to chop that top by about 1/2, haha!
