Not sure. I know it's got narrow track axles under it, and I've seen pics of wide track axles on a narrow track CJ and they stick out about 4". So if I could gain another atleast 4", I'd be good.

Looks like a quick google search shows a narrow track axle was like 51". That puts the outside of stock tires about even with the tub. Adding an extra foot would probably be good.

Great to know I should be able to find an axle fairly easily that will work.

I got the axle I did for a CJ2A flat rod. It's not in yet so no idea if it'll be wide enough. I'm thinking I'll still need wheel spacers. I'm trying to figure out a front axle still because I want it to keep the 4WD.

That's sorta the idea I'm playing with. I'd love to get a set of 4x4 axles and go that route. Something about a 4 wheel burn out just is cool.

Saw this one on Pirate, it's not mine, but I find it strangely interesting Not sure if it runs, I don't think I see a motor.

Not a fan of the roof, but I like it otherwise.

That is badass almost exactly what I have in mind for my rat rod project. I love the hardtop and the front axle. I want a full chop top cage in mine though so I can remove the hardtop. Link to said thread on pirate please?

I don't think it was a build, it was someone asking what type of top was on the jeep before it was chopped
