Took the son to Toys R' Us yesterday, needless to say we didnt find any jeeps
However we found this badboy... but with a price tag of $215 it was out of the picture for legos...
The 9398 set is the only thing on my Christmas list this year! It should make up for the shortcomings of the 8297 set which was neat with adjustable height suspension, a working winch andw gull wing doors, but only 2WD:

I've been collecting lego train cars for years... I have a lot of the old 9 volt track, including four 9 volt motors/engines and about 20 train cars.
Anyway, I picked up a lego camping trailer last year which had an ugly yellow car pulling it. (I love camping!) I thought it needed a Jeep instead, so with two nephews who have a ton of lego parts, we built a red Jeep! We also built a couple of flatbed train cars to transport the Jeep and the trailer.
This is one of the trains with two 9 volt motors. I keep two different trains running on the same track (as I said I have a lot of track not shown in the picture below). It takes two power supplies to run all four motors. My wife only lets me bring out the train at Christmas.
