Rough Country RS9500.
Was a gift from a friend for some work I did for him. Worked well the one time I have needed it. Came with wireless remote.

Quite interested in the new line of Warn 'Zeon' winches or the 9.5CTI I just installed for someone recently.

I have a 9.5ti, which is the cti with just contactors. Some may say otherwise, but it is one of the best winches I've ever used or seen in action. The line speed is second to only a 8274, holds 125' of line, and I've never needed a snatch block, never overheated it, and it's never failed to pull something out.

All in all just a BA winch, and to think, someone left it on a stock LJ they traded in to a dealer. No idea why they would, but I wasn't arguing on getting a free winch with the Jeep I bought.

Looking for: 03-06 interior plastic trim. PM me.

I would of used a strap but the sand is really sugary, the video doesn't do it justice.

Replacing random parts on hunches spurred from other vehicles and peoples experiences with them is the safest bet.

Warn 9.5 XP-S with wireless remote - bumper was originally a road armor but we did a ton of modifications to it. The winch was moved back and low where the swaybar used to be (running SwayLoc now instead) and that opened up more air flow to the radiator, and allowed us to squeeze in 2 10" Rigid Industries lights on either side of the fairlead.

Used a couple times for self-help but mostly for helping others

Note I'm not the one stuck in that picture ;-)

Warn M8000. Free. (NOTE: The arrow in the pic was pointing to the GoPro for a different thread, ignore it)

Used it to pull this guy back up the hill after he decided to roll down it sideways.

Here's my old winch, Champion 10k from Sams club. Bought it on sale for $229, used it a handful of times, worked ok, slow and when it got hot it would slip so you'd have to let it cool before continuing. But I wrecked it into a tree and it broke the gear connected to the handle that engages and disengages the clutch so it is stuck in neutral until I can tear it apart and order the parts from champion.

but no worries though because a YJ I bought in January came with a Warn m8000 on it which made its way to my TJ when we sold the YJ. And we made money on the yj anyways so i got the Warn for free

Rugged ridge 8500lb. I got it for $270 I believe and I love it. Works great. I have a new XRC8 in the box that I was going to use on a different jeep but I sold it.
