No pics, but a few months ago I was playing around in one of my buddy's cut pits. He has this one climb that is 12-15 feet tall essentially vertical with a plateau on top. Just playing around I decided to try to climb it. I got to where my front tires were on the ledge almost over and my Jeep was at about a 65-75 degree angle to the ground. Anyways my front left tire slowly started coming off the ground the further I went up and once it was about 2 feet off of the side I decided I would back down. It was slightly scary, but fun nonetheless

That's always been the Jeep's curse light, tall, narrow and short + ice = disaster in some situations!

I don't understand why you didn't snap any "during" pics of this incident...

The first thing that should have crossed your mind when you began to loose traction...was to grab your camera, so you could have posted them all over the web!

nothing compared to some of these but-

this was a really sharp turn leaning into the point. you also have to go over a decent sized rock on the passenger side so it feels like you are going to tip into the rock.

Went wheeling yesterday with a bunch of friends and did this...

And the view from behind...

The guy who took the first picture said my front tires were 3 feet off the ground. If only he snapped the picture an instant later. It was my 3rd attempt up the hill. I was getting hung up at the top the first two times so I gave it some more cowbell.

It wasn't scary at the time but seeing the pictures it scares me of what could have broken. Never again.

That is an old (40 years old) Warn ad, advertising Warn Automatic Locking Hubs. The picture was created long before Photoshop was a gleam in some computer geek's eye.

I agree the picture is manufactured, but I imagine it was done with old fashioned photograpy techniques.

Hells Gate, oh the memories. The pucker marks are still in my seats. Pick a good line and it's an easy obstacle. Get off line and front tires start catching a lot of air. Wish I would have had a spotter on my day. Glad you're not as famous as Tracey's Roll...
