if it did, no way to tell

but did get teh passenger fender trying another line through it. could not straddle due to roots that kept kicking up down in there.

if you look here, you can see a stump lodged in the passenger fender, also seen in teh above pic infront of teh tire.

I don't have pics but last winter I made the mistake of going up a icy hill in town that had a stop sign at the top. Got up there and stopped just fine, when it was clear to go I gave my CJ too much gas and the wheels spun and then it died and I freaked and slammed on the breaks and guess what they locked up and the Jeep went completely sideways almost taking out a car parked on the side of the hill and then it straightened out and did a couple of doughnuts, and finally I got it back under control, thank God there was no one behind me! That's always been the Jeep's curse light, tall, narrow and short + ice = disaster in some situations!

Here's another one from me. Neeeearly rolled it.

I know the mistakes I made (hand on cage, locked up brakes), so please save the bandwidth .

I first contacted John Rush (owner of John's 4x4) in Boulder, CO. He actually has this exact Warn poster on his showroom floor. Here is what he said:

"Craig,

I do not know where this was taken but I do know that it is a "cropped"
picture. The trail was wider than what the picture shows.

John Rush"

I also contacted Warn, and here is what they said:

"Craig,

That was not an actual trail rather than just crafty placement of a vehicle on the side of a forest service road up in the North Cascades (Washington) assisted by some photo editing.

Todd Wright
Warn Technical Service Representative"

===

No word from either on the age of the picture.

Here's what we need to do now: Find someone in Washington to look at old DMV databases for the license plate "PE 1585." Find out who owned the Jeep and call the dude to ask them for more info.

Any takers?
I'm curious "

Debate over

If thats the part im thinking of its easier for and open/open rig to make it up by going up the right side. Its not a terribly hard part, you just have to pick the right line.
