Love the Quadrasteer thing from GM. Too bad they killed a great thing with the price. It should have been a $1000 option, taken a loss at first, sold a ton of them and recouped the cash later with volume.

I have thought about a tow rig and for what I want, I had better get one before they are all "gone". I want an '03-'06 Chevy Suburban 4x4 2500 with the 8.1 engine. A beast of a Suburban!

Nice tow rigs everyone!

Agreed...it is an awesome option. People are always shocked how tight it turns, be it in a parking lot, small city street, or pulling/backing a trailer!

It literally turns like your in a small car.

if you have the 5.3 03 chevy it doesnt pulll 9400 lbs and i know for a fact it is 8400 lbs because i had one before i got a titan so sorry and it pulled like crap compared to the titan. plus i dont have to add all that crap to pull close to 10k i wasnt say anything bad but these are the facts.

close but the specs i saw on line for the 09 and the 2010 was 9100lbs now you can get the 6.0 like i stated earlier that gives you over 10k towing but an upgrade and starts in the low 40's. i actually like the new 6.0 403 hp chevy but for what i tow the 9600lb titan will do thatand i paid only 21k for for an LE decked out with 25k miles on it and 4x4

When you have a family that has bought every type of truck and tows and went back to Chevrolet they must be doing something right. 90% percent of the 1/2 ton Chevy trucks that are on the road have the 5.3 vortec that must be a terrible engine in your books, btw did you know you can option for active fuel management too.
i did get my facts straight the first time did you read i said an upgrade to the 6.0 will tow that much a 5.3 shows 9100lbs and these are for the 2009 and newer which i stated earlier. and my titan has 60k miles and not once to the dealer or shop yet. really solid and tons of room i had the 5.3 in my tahoe, granted a tahoe but it towed as much as a silverado and i can tell you from experience the Titan ran circles around it towing especially going up the mountains in Arizona. i loved my tahoe but it couldnt pull worth a darn up the hills with the 5.3 3.73 gears. and basically i was commenting on the person stating " about time you get a real truck and i was just stating a fact on towing, nothing personal about chevy or any other truck.

Just because it says you can tow 10Klbs doesn't mean you should.
