Seriously though.... I'm waiting on someone to drop a Subaru boxer 4 to replace the 2.5 in their TJ. My DD currently makes 270 from a 2.5 with a light tune and a catless DP and UP. They're surprisingly power happy motors.

HDR from the Sports Basement parking lot in the Presidio (right across from Crissy field for anyone familiar with the area.)
The reason nobody has is because they like to rev to build power/ boost. doesn't help that they are super expensive.

You will love the DIB! I've had a 2013 GT for about a year and get compliments all the time on two things: the color and the exhaust (FRPP sport axle backs). Warning...it's just as hard to keep clean as black

Oh most definitely. They produce very low numbers in the former part of the power band, so that could be a definite issue when offroad.

The only time I could see it becoming practicality would be for a mud rig where you're constantly throttling it, and I've always thought a bit less of mudding anyhow. On the rocks it would suck. The engine would constantly bog down and kill. As it is now, with a light tune and the few bolt ons I have with a Spec stage 3+ clutch, she kills out all the time unless I peg the revs a bit due to the combo. of the aforementioned as well as how hard the clutch bites.

It's always funny taking it to a tire shop and watching them kill it 3-4 times trying to get it into the bay to throw it on a lift. As a result, they usually let me back it out of the garage for them haha

yea, every time i see the color i know i picked the right color (DIB).I'm just TIRED or waiting for it!! It's scheduled to be 'built' this week at the plant in Michigan.. but then it closes down for a month.. so i may not get it til the first on August!! The suspense is killing me!!. However, i have a 2003 Cobra in Sonic Blue.. which is VERY similar and a Raptor in Blue Flame.. they definitely are HARD to keep clean.. oh well, they are worth it when they are shiny though!! Cheers, and sweet Mustang!!

'59 Sedan DeVille - Six Window Hard Top

"six window" is the four-doors with the curved roof line - thanks to the little triangle window at the back. It looks like the coupe, just the doors are different. Here she is after a bit of work since I bought it. New wheels, tires, lights etc etc.

There's also the flat-top "four window" sedan with a wrap-around rear windshield.

This is a Flat-Top.

The Fleetwoods have a very different side chrome trim and a side-scoop on the back... Personally I don't like the side scoop because it starts on the door which just makes no logical sense (Not that any part of the '59 Cadillac makes logical sense ) - I just think the car looks better without it

At the end of the day though they're all spectacular

I knew it wasn't a Fleetwood. I typed that into a reply first and immediatley edited it. I overlooked the rear doors. Gorgeous cars and I'm with you about the scoops on the Fleetwoods not flowing with the car. The wire wheels dress that up real nice.

Thank you! Was a bit of a risk doing them in 18" instead of the more traditional 15" but it came out good and drives great

Apparently about 10 Cadillac cars on the planet with them in that size, and not necessarily 59s

I've posted this car in here before but it has since been repainted so here is some new pics. First, short story on the repaint. I had brought the car home from storage to drive it and do some body work to eventually get it painted, I went out of town for a weekend to find my dad and brother had taken it back to storage (3 months after it had been home) because the driveway was too full and needed it out of the way until we sell some cars. 2 months later we are all out going to look at a parts car for sale and it turns out its my car that they had taken to get painted for me. I was in total shock and surprise and it looks amazing! I just have to put it all back together now!

The color is Daytona sunset orange from the C6 corvette
Below is the pictures of before and after.

after
