photoshop request
can someone photopshop my WJ with a 6.5" lift... i also want to see it with 33's and mickey thompson classic lock wheels... i would preffer 18's and also a pic with some 15's im debating which ones look better... thanks in advance..!

I have Mickey Thompson's on my Jeep, so I used my Jeep to lift yours.

photoshop talent!
dang you guys are good at this! I've been trying to use "Paint" to figure out my new paint scheme, but it sucks and never looks right. All I want to do is make the lower half silver, following the front fender line around the jeep. Anybody got a link where I can get the photoshop software (for free?)

Here's how she sits today...

hey thanks '64. so you're saying silver is hard to do in photoshop...I hear it's just as hard with the paint gun but guess I'll find out this winter

That's interesting the way you did it - looks pretty cool but kinda defeats my purpose for painting it. I'm actually gonna paint the whole lower half of the jeep silver following the top of the fender. Reason you may ask? Patiot blue is beautiful, but the trees reach out and give her white racing stripes! My thinking is the silver bottom (where most of the scratches are) won't show it as bad as the blue...at least I hope so

so is Photoshop shareware?

Here is my 5min attempt at the work and trying to understand what it is you want. It is very hard to change a color if the base colors are not even close, although it is very possible using other methods. You better start sanding down and getting a light primer down now.

download GIMP. it's LEGALLY FREE and will do a lot of what photoshop can do. it's not as good as photoshop, but again, it's free and will do 99.99% of what you want to do when modifying pictures.

You nailed it... that's what my plan was but the actual artist's rendition doesn't look near as good as I envisioned. Guess I'll have to come up with something else. Any artsy types out there with some ideas? (Not too intricate! I've painted 8 other trucks, but I ain't that good!)
