I'd like to paint the gear covers - was it a difficult job?
(removing & re-seating them - draining, etc.... or did ya do it with em on???

maybe I'll wait till I switch out to purple gear oil

I'd wait until you have a reason to remove the cover, so you won't have to mask anything. I painted mine while I was building my new axles. It was really simple: just scuffed up the surface, cleaned thoroughly (alcohol or brake cleaner), 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of yellow. It's just regular ol' rustoleum, so we'll see how it holds up to the heat (no problems yet).

Stock! with the exeption of the sweet rims and tires!



I plan on keeping it mostly stock...untill I convince my parents it needs a 2.5" lift, and some 32's!!

took the floaties off. looks much better
