The namebrand is either Campbell Industries out of Arizona or Durham _____ out of NC? Both make similar hoods, both FG. I have the campbell on mine and like it. They don't have the best finishes.

My favs are shedder and archnophobia both pictured on this page.

I think this flatty from Chile is the coolest Jeep ever.

I doubt it was an inspiration to make LJs. If it is in fact a Rubicon, Rubicons came out in 2003, and LJs came out in 2004... that wouldnt have given Mopar much time to have designed and tooled for the LJ models. I bet LJs were in the works, but AEV beat mopar to it.

Never the less, if I had $34 grand - I think it be worth every penny!

ARB was stretching TJ's long before Rubicons came out.

It was on sale here in AZ and we looked at it. The guy wanted 23k. He then sold it to a dealership and they wanted 36 for it lol. We said no thanks.

Even $36K for a 1 of a kind AEV rig doesnt seem too far fetched. Id take it over a Fiat JKU any day!

In 1998 AEV had one of it's stretched Jeep Wranglers in the Sema show and received a design award from Jeep's engineers.

Plenty of time for Jeep to figure out how to put it into production from 1998 to 2004 ;-)

This one for sale would be one of the last conversions I would guess, I think the demand dropped off as soon as the LJ's came out and they stopped doing it.

Seen both of these in person at 2013 Sheriff Jeep Fest in Jasper GA.

First was an immaculate Scrambler....Jerry can, shovel and pick axe all custom painted to match as well as a matching trailer with tent option.

Second is the Kraken...47in tires w/ Hemi!

That's a beauty. Love that it has the same rear overhang as a TJ. That's the one thing I despise about LJ's.....dat fat ***.
