from what ive seen it looks like its more of a wheel offest issue than rubber size

the jeeps with stock rims looked funny the ones with more negative offset looked better (my opinion)

i have a 4" lift ariving on tuesday and iam not replaceing my 31's till there worn my rims have negative offset so hopefully ill like the way it looks

stock with 31's looks kinda funny though too (i have no rubbing but it looks funny)

What brand/size wheels are those? I've only seen one other set, and haven't been able to ID them.

The wheels I are American racing don't know the name. They were on my jeep when I out bought it. They are also 15's

I'm reviving this thread.

It's funny, but some of the Jeeps in the thread look awkward with 31" tires on 4" lifts, but then most of the Jeeps look perfectly balanced with them.

It's like I'm just not understanding what I'm seeing.

Exactly some look good and some look stupid, I think it's just the brand of tires you have.

Don't see the problem with 4" lift and 31" tires. What i think look stupid tho is a lifted jeep or other car with stupid street tires on, doesn't mather if its a big tire if its a street tire. want too go off road, buy a off road tire. Every jeep that is pictured in this tread with off road tires and 4" lift looks ok or good in my opinion. Hell i run 2"bb and 235/75-15 khumo road venture m/t and it looks good, i can put on bigger tires but i don't want to loose the small flex i have.

Interesting. For most of the pictures supplied, the 4" lifts and 31" tires actually look great!

Like someone else posted - probably has something to do with the backspacing of aftermarket wheels. Stock wheels, 31" tires and 4" lift probably looks worse.
