I have a 4.5 inch lift with 31's right now. It looks a little funny, but it is do able! I am like you and waiting of funds for 33 or 35's.

They're a Simex brand tire, very popular overseas. I don't believe you can get them in the U.S.

IIRC they can be bought in the US but they are extremely expensive.

thanks guys. i was curious about how it would look myself. I will be lifting my tj 4 inches next week and didnt want to buy tires right away. By the looks of it, i might as well cuz they do rather dinky!

Dude trust me... In real life (as opposed to pics) it looks retarded IMHO.
Do what I did.. go ahead and buy the lift while you have the money, and just wait to put it on when you can afford the bigger tires. My lift sat in my garage for a couple of months.

Don't mean to resurrect this thread, but I want to add my $0.02. I'm in the process of upgrading a 1989 YJ. I've installed the RC 4" lift, dropped the transfer case, and now I'm ready to fill in the gaps with some new wheels/tires (rims/tires for you youngsters!)

The thing that seems to be missing here is not "What will my Jeep look like?"; but "How will my Heep run with xx" tires on xx" of lift?" First check the rear diff, double check the power band for the gear ratio/tire diameter, and then make your decision.

If you're comfortable running huge tires, like thecalebwalker, with a terrible gear ratio, like 3.07--his profile even says, "3.07 (sucks penis with 33s)." Well, that's up to you, but I think a better option is save the $$$ for an axle/diff upgrade followed by the right wheel/tire choice.

I hear a ton of guys saying do this or do that; build all or build none. I also want to drive the **** Jeep, just like you. So, if you're ok with the lost power, go on up to the 33" tires; but if you just wait a little longer you'll be in a rig fit for any trail.

This is my buddies Jeep. 4" Skyjacker suspension lift and 31 inch Cooper tires on stock 15" wheels. He's waiting for 33's and 17 inch wheels.
