Why is it that purpose-built rock crawling type rigs are cool and purpose built mud trucks are "gay"? Where does that come from? Simple insecurity? Is it not more of a design-vs-use thing? It'd be just as pathetic to see an overly built crawler in a muddy flatland as it would be to see a mud truck in Moab. Being from Florida, what I find laughable (Gay) is pushing the rear axle so far back that spring shackles are BEHIND the vehicle and the axle no longer articulates up into the raised part of the frame. Why not start with a truck to begin with?

I vote for both
They each have their benefits and drawbacks, luckily where I live there is a good mixture of terrain, sometime's I enjoy burying my Jeep in a swamp with mud blacker then my tires, other days it's nice to hit a set of powerlines with soft sand and rocks scattered around. ![]() Guess everyone just has there own preferences = Internet ![]() More pic's ![]()

It looks like the 3rd and 5th picture are the same vehicle either a tracker or a suzuki samari.

Yeah that was my second guess. I HAVE seen hard top Trackers. Who knows.
I saw a big OD Tracker (like 12" and 38" Swampers) at rausch creek haha
