Looks great!

Thought so. Thinking about doing the bottom half of my Samurai that color. What was your original color?

gun metal pearl, pq7 i believe. in direct sunlight it's a light(er) grey, but in shadow, indirect sun, dusk-dark, it's the dark lurking grey that i love

i also did my trucks bed in the pyro on page 55, reply 819

Can I use a standard rustoleam primer to prep aluminum side plates for monstaliner? What can I use that's available at the local parts store, I'd like to start painting tomorrow an don't want to order anything over the internet.

Need something made for aluminum. 2K epoxy primer is best. Here's 2K in spray cans, both available local

This you'll find in auto paint stores

Does anyone have some good pics of a fully scuffed exterior before liner was installed?

Partially scuffed showing the difference before and after scuffing would also work

Thanks

Just got down with my install, went good but when I did went to mix everything together it was 85 degrees and 85% humidity outside at 9pm. The humidity caused everything to work and harden a lot faster. I got everything on but failed to read the HOT WEATHER HANDLING NOTES in BRIGHT RED in the instructions. This would have helped if I had read the instructions better.

That's my improper installation of the monstaliner, the product started to dry before I could get the second coat on. Ended up with a mess. Read my post before the picture I posted.

Hey guys! Loving the crap out of Monsta liner the more I see it! I ordered some paint chips for my project tj, I'm in Edson alberta and will be ordering paint this week. Anyone have a clue what I'll need for the amout of paint I'll need? I'm doing desert sand on the whole exterior and black on the hard top and frame/under tub and also the floor inside black.

I figured 6-7 gallons but I'm not sure? And what's the best way to do this? I'd like to spray it but is rolling better?

Here is my jeep, it had a major makeover from when I got it and it's not done
