I would like to roll-on the Monsta Spice Color to get some life back into the hard top.

I clicked through to page 24 looking for a hard top...did not find one...made this reply hoping there was an example to see.
Maybe they were banned? only 10 roll-ons instead of 30? NY-Safe compliant?
X2. I'm thinking it may be more practical to just paint my top when I go to line the jeep. Not sure though. Would like to see.

i asked this question a few months ago and magnetman posted a pic of a cj-5 or 7 top that had been lined looked good.

I'm so glad I stumbled across this product. I was looking for a bedliner to cover my Detour USA rear tire carrier and Dirtbound offroad front winch bumper for my 01 Jeep Cherokee. Quick question though. Do I need to primer them since they are bare metal?

You must prime bare steel or aluminum. 2K epoxy primer is best. No self etch primers

http://www.rustoleum.com/product-cat...-primer-spray/

Doesn't say anything about self etching, I'm assuming this is ok to use?

That stuff is good, an epoxy.

Self etch will always say self etch

Just finished 97 TJ Monstaliner project in the tub. Medium Quartz Gray. One gallon rolled on. 80 degrees and 75% humidity in Central FL and recoated in two hours. Lots of work but nice to have it done. Primed a couple of small areas of bare metal with Rustoleum primer and small rusted areas around front drain holes with Chassis Saver.

Rolling on the top was easier than rolling the tub. It has also stood up to the harsh PA winter we had this year and looks great. Check out my build thread for tons of pics.

Ok so after sitting and looking at 41 pages of pictures I have decided I am going to use Monstaliner for my jeeps interior. But what I can't think of is what color would work. I have coverking red and black seatcovers and the exterior is red. My first thought is black but I would like something different. And green would make my jeep way too Christmas-y. If anyone has any ideas let me know!
