Exteriors in general use between 1.5 - 2 gallons

Measure your roof sq footage to see how much white you will need

General coverage is 15 sq ft per quart, 60 sq ft per gallon

So probably buy the 2 gal kit for the exterior and (x) quarts for the roof

About 4 years ago i Herculined the interior of my Jeep and im not too happy with how it came out. Since day one its looked terrible and faded within the first couple of weeks. Does any body know if i could apply Monstaliner over the previous bedliner?

Is the Herc peeling at all or or just faded?
Does it seem to be stuck well everywhere?

Planning on monstalining the jeep black, I hate my jeep somedays in white and I'm going to be fabing up some stuff that will make the paint bite the dust. ***My question is should I spray it or roll it? Also do I get a discount being on the forum?

- Rolling is more work, 2 hrs minimum wait between coats, less masking

- Spraying is faster, 1 hr between coats, more masking to protect from overspray

Texture varies some between both methods

It's pretty faded, and peeling in some areas, mostly the cargo (I dont have a back seat) and by the gas/brake/clutch pedals. And their are a couple of spots that i would like to touch up that i missed previously

Faded is good because it will help adhesion but you still need to scuff it somehow.
Because Herculiner has crumb tire rubber bits in it, scuffing can pose a challenge.
Wire brushing is going to get between the rubber. If you tried to sand, it would be like sanding a rubber ball.

You need to check carefully around the areas that are peeling.
Pick at the edges to see if the coating continues to peel.
You don't want to coat over areas that are not stuck well or anything new you put over this could start coming off with the old coating.

If you have any bare metal areas you need to address this by spot priming.

Once you've wire brushed it all you want to solvent clean with MEK, Acetone or MEK Substitute
