Thanks for the pics! The Envy chip looks more teal on the website, thats more or less what i'm looking for. We'll see what it looks like when it shows up.

Got a pic what it looks like close up?
Here's a pic. You can see why I want to replace it. It's pretty rough textured (to the point where it tears up even canvas bags like our tent bag) and ou can still see the paint beneath it. The previous owner did a horrible job applying it.

The pic isnt super clear so if you need another just let me know.

I have a feeling its going to be a pain trying to prep that for monstaliner though, one of the reasons I havent done it yet.

I had that same liner in my jeep. Wire brush on a grinder worked for me to knock some of it down. Couldn't get it all but the ML went on good stuck good and has a the normal texture of ML on painted surface ill pull a pic and post it if you wanna see how mine turned out.

That would be great if you don't mind. I'm considering doing the inside and exterior of my jeep this fall.

Get yourself a couple of these, or a few of the smaller ones. They're like plastic strengthened with ceramic/aluminum or something. Has really big holes in it so that it doesn't load up. Should eat right through the liner and leave the metal surface prepped for paint.

I used them for cleaning some really thick underlining off the bottom of my pickup. Works 10x better than the wire wheel I was messing with before.

Yeah, I saw that actually. Looks fantastic! I'm just wondering what would go well with the desert sand interior. Maybe a green? OD might suit it alright but seems a little plain still...

I know I have seen some of what I am going to request but for the life of me I can't find threads by scanning nor searching. I would like to see what some have done to protect bolt holes and such. Do I just remove the mounts for the back seat, for instance? Or do I just ignore it and dal with it later.

What I am hoping is that I will get some cool pictures of unique ideas.

Therios, use foam ear plugs. They work great, thats what I used. I've also seen people use newspaper, but i liked earplugs better because they filled the entire hole and kept the threads clean
