Military styled jeeps

Doesn't have to be a military jeep. Looking for jeeps in the military style with paint, accessories, etc

The guy that built this really did a good job. Theres a build thread for it somewhere on JF. Some really unique mods went into that.

I love this Jeep, I saw it at a car show a few years back. The owner is an older guy, and he told me how it's been in his family for 50 years, he and his dad worked on it when he was a kid and he's had it ever since. He has it all tricked out with vintage WWII gear he boguht back in the 50's when he was in the boy scouts. He was telling me that stuff was all over the place, and CHEAP at that time, so a lot of the scouts would buy their gear from surplus stores. He was an interseting guy to talk to actually, I was there for a while.

You can't see it in the pic, but he's got a M1 mounted on the dash, and a bunch of gear in the back seat. And you don't notice it in the pic at first glance, but look right above the windshield........ .50 cal! I also like the wire cutter on the front, the guy was impressed that I knew what it was for.

I followed that build, and think it came out amazing, but those tires just kill it for me. That thing needs some pizza cutters! 33x9.50's would look killer on that thing. Too bad they didn't make a modern tire with a NDT tread, that wold look so perfect.
