Ah Larue Tactical freebies... Gotta love 'em. Those lights on the JK would look pretty cool, hurry up and get them on! Sorry I'm no help.

I used to mfg LED versions of these at Truck Lite. I have a set of them in green in the garage I plan to paint black and mount on my TJ.

Man... MILSPEC MILSPEC MILSPEC. I was in the military and I don't want anything MILSPEC on my jeep at all, not a SINCGARS radio, hummer rims or one of those stupid antennas. If you want something MILSPEC look around the civilian market, chances are someone is doing it the right way, not the Army way. Seriously, MILSPEC just means cheapest way possible, not necessarily rough and ruggid.

Check out Savvy rear LED brake lights they are pretty sexy lookin. I plan on stickin a pair on myself.
And for your enlightenment! The thing that makes our lights so special and handy is the ability to switch 'em off and go dark with just a little bit of light coming out of that little rectanglar recess at night during a convoy, this is so you don't paint your buddys or flare their NVGs. That might be nice on a dark trail at night. Looks like it will come out nice though.

I agree but ever looked at a jk tail lamp ... maybe by your definition the stock jk tail lamp is milspec. ... lol cuz they are cheap crap. These military tail lamps are LED and way stronger. That's the only real reason I want them. Its a fatal bonus that they will look killer! Lol. It also didn't hurt that these were free.

I thought about these. The J8 I saw had these. Although it works it just looks to eased way out. The AEV corners with these recessed I think will be better. I just wish someone had done it already. That way id have some idea about what im doing. . Lol.
