Metal Cloak Overline with 35's on 3" lift TJ

Going for the LCOG build once I get a TJ since it will also be my DD. Would a 3 inch lift look alright with this setup or should I look into a smaller lift? I've looked on search but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

35's will look fine with a 3" lift. You can go bigger, but the proportion will be fine. If you wanted to, you could go down to a 2" lift and have a nice, effective, wheeler.

I have the fenders and 35" tires. The fenders are not installed yet.

Thats what i'm planning on running for a while. Later on I plan on adding a lift but i'm not sure if a 2 inch or 3 inch would be better for my purposes. Just trying to plan everything out before I dive into getting a jeep .

You think about running a 2" old man emu lift. People seem to like it and that with a body lift would give u plenty of flex with 35. Its probably way ill go, iv got the fenders but there not on the jeep yet.

Thanks Filthy-Beast.

With everyone liking the OME kits, that sounds like a good route to take. I might do that too. But to keep the cost down a little, I might try the BDS 2" lift. Then again, everyone seems to like the 3 inch zone lift haha. So many options to choose from. Please post pictures when you get done.

How are the AEV springs holding up with the weight? Everything I have read about the and the tech specs on them seems like they would do really well maintaing height with the weight. Supposedly they ride pretty good too. What shocks are you running with yours? I am thinking about running Bilsteins 5100 series. I would definitely be interested to hear what you have to say about the springs.

Not sure about beast but I am running 3" AEVs as well and love em. I dont have the rake that I used to with the Pro Comps and the road manners/comfort is noticeably better. I am running them with the Pro Comp MX-6 adj shocks left from the 4" lift.

What kind of up and down travel do you have? And bumpstop extension length?
