XJ's are only marginally more top heavy if you're comparing a TJ with a soft top. With the hard top, I'd argue that the TJ is more top heavy. XJ's are lighter than TJ's. I would also disagree--if you're comparing an excessively tall TJ (over 6" of lift) on 35's with an XJ on 6" of lift on 35's, the XJ looks much cooler, but obviously that's a matter of opinion. I like XJ's due to the flat belly and massive amount of belly clearance that can be had with little lift and modest tires.

To add to my comment about physics being a fad--I'm serious. There is much more justification FOR a "lower" cog than against it.

OlllllllO

Most people are only throwing big tires on a small lift and thats it. Most arnt moving anything up. They are throwing around the phrase and taking it away from the people doing a true LCG build.

Buy my transmission cooler. Derale TJ cooler.

Very well put! In my build I relocated the steering box, redid the steering and track bar, pushed the front axle forward 5", notched the frame a little for draglink clearance at full flex, sitting at about 3" lift over stock with a high pinion 60 that has a full 6" of uptravel and all 10" of droop on 16" coilovers and all on 40" Goodyear MTR's with 21" to the bottom of the frame rail at the belly. That to me is a true "LCG Build".

Anyone know where those flares came from? I've never found them online but I'm highlined as well and I'd love some clean factory looking flares to go with my highline.
