Just found another member's rig that I'm absolutely crazy about. The sweetest thing about it is, It's the least expensive option so far. Being that I'm already close to this type of set-up. I hope you don't mind me posting. Thanks.

these are all gorgeous ... makes me wish i had more money to dump into mine

^ i love those fender flares. it would be a tough choice between those or going to full tube fenders front and rear - flares are much cheaper

^^Alright I'm excited now.^^
So far this is where I stand. I'm running a 4.5" RE SF SA. Now that I know I can run a 15" rim on a 37 tire I'll stay with my 4.5" lift. I have been wanting to move to longer arm's, and now I will. I'll still want to beef up my stock axles, so I'm open to ideas and feedback. Regearing is next and then flaten my flares! Here is how I'm looking. My 4.5" on 315/70/16 Moab's

:

For your front axle:
RCV's and Vanco's(I'm already here) I've priced CTM's with alloy shafts and find the RCV's more appealing.

Rear Axle:
A set of chromolly shafts until you blow up the locker, after the locker goes then the Superior Super 44 kit with a Detroit. (Been through 2 stock shafts, one chromolly and one locker, I will not be putting in another stock Rubicon rear locker)

You could also sell all your stock stuff now and offset some costs. I'd also buy a $500 beater to drive to the parts store....

That's my idea and feedback.

PS. If you ever think you will do the Super 44 kit, do it when you regear or you will have to buy a new gearset later on as well. Ask me how I know.....

1990 YJ - 96 to 03 My first. She will be missed.
2004 TJ - 03 to 11. Old Faithful. I will have another TJ one day.

I'd be more worried about armor than getting a bigger tire.

lolz truth.

::SELLING HALF OF MY JEEP::

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f33/?uid=152304

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

IndyORV- Dick and fart jokes, titties, throttle, flops, beer, tater balls, and good times.

Armor has not escaped me. Actually, I'm not worried about armor for the time being. Some armor is not compatible with certain types of set-ups. I'd like to get my set-up right first. (right is relative)
For example, I like the Mopar corner guards but with an AEV highline they will not work. I don't like body lifts but should I decide to do one, I don't want to have a gap between my rocker guards and my frame. A belly up, a diff cover? Why spend the money if your not going to run with it? Rocker guards/panels, corner guards and differential cover's are all I'm looking into. A diff cover for a D44 when I may drop a Trail series 60 saves me time and money. I'm getting closer but thanks. Armor to my liking is the easy part.

My FJ40 will be LCG.
