These are some really nice jeeps. Wonder how long the stock axles would last with 37s or bigger.

The more I see of the wheeling you "east-coasters" ( or at least closer to the East coast than the West coast) do, the more I realize my axles are lucky to be out west! Low throttle, less bouncing, no loose dirt, no slippery tree roots, etc. I could probably run 40s on my stock Rubi axles.

First off, dont call me east coast. Second, you have no idea what circumstances were for me to break it.

To prove that point, I was in a race and stood my jeep up almost on its end to get up an obstacle redlined in 2nd and 4L. Never let off and finished the race and drove home the next day.

I highly doubt your 44 would have done any better than my 30 did. And according to this forum, it appears that the hp30 is a better choice than a rubi 44.

Easy killer... I wasn't trying to piss you off. You'll notice in parenthesis I stated, "at least closer to the East coast than the West coast".

Secondly, I don't care what circumstances you had for breaking it. I was simply making a statement that in my small part of the world, it's harder for me to break things than it might be if I lived in other parts of the world. I've been argued with on this forum for some stupid stuff before, but jeez...

Back to the LJ pictures now??

Bumping this up for my not so lcg LJ rubi... First pic is how I got it with 15/38x15.50 TSLs which were terrible and then 2nd pic is 37x12.50 MTRs sitting on 17x9 ATX Ravines. Much better riding..

No gears yet, I've been doing lots of maintenance and getting it running right, performing services and what not. I'll do gears soon and maybe shafts, getting married soon so funds are limited. Did pick up some genright hiflares for the rear for cheap and will do fronts soon too.. inspired by all these over the top LJs like this 1^!
