Very nice.... We wave to remember the men that didn't make it home from WW2. Glad you're proud to advertise that sticker.

The bright one at the most bottom is a BFGoodrich reflective one, hence why it doesnt show up

These two, plus two more just like them in the same spots on the other side.
And the American flag on the back window. Still looing for the ideal spot for the Jeepforum.com sticker.

I've never heard of that (sounds like a good reason to me though!) But regardless, you are probably reading way to much into that sticker if you are thinking that it's meant to be derogatory towards soldiers or something.

I could be wrong though, maybe we have a hippie on our hands

Sorry I don't have any links. I've seen it in a few old books that I had 10 years ago. I also was told the story by Mark A. Smith and a discussion at Camp Jeep.
Story goes that at the end of ww2 the soldiers needed a ride home. Some bought jeeps and at some point one would pass another. The two vets would wave to each other knowing that the other man had moste than likely been through the same hell that he had. It was about the welcome home and remembering those that didn't make it.
I live in Aberdeen Maryland. Aberdeen Proving grounds is 5 mins from the dealer I work for and my house. This is the 1st stop in jeep testing in 1941. I've heard this story from other Vets at the Aberdeen military vehicle Show over the years. I kinda surprised that nobody has chimed in saying they've heard the same story. I guess cause I'm into older jeeps I hear more of these stories.

No Im not a hippie!

But I'm a long time jeep owner and I wave to every jeep owner. Although I don't always get one back. Its just disrespectful when I see stickers like that and someone proud to tell other owners to "£__k off".
Anyway sorry if I sounded like a jerk. Wasnt trying to. That kind of stuff just annoys me.
Anyway back to stickers. I found my box of stickers I've been collecting from approx 1995. You'll see Jeep, mountain bike, BMX, gun, & maybe some surf stickers.
