Let's see your Mountain Bikes

Kids got some good grades and stayed out of trouble this year in school and I have been wanting to get off my butt and get in some better shape. I decided to surprise them with new bikes. Looking for some beginner trails.

Here are the bikes.

My youngest and his Specialized Hard Rock Disc

My oldest and his Specialized RockHopper Comp Disc

My new Specialized RockHopper Expert Disc 29er

Had this bike for 15 years.
I am jealous. Looks like I am the only one left with V-brakes and not disks.
Have replaced all components once or twice, except bottom bracket and front wheel.

Only picture I have of it which was when it was brand new

Trek 4300 Disc

Only new thing on it now is a new seat. 1000x better than the old one.

That's funny. I have that same bike (bought new in 1996). It has been converted to singlespeed and I still ride it every now and then, but the Mary is my primary ride. Original wheels, and before the SS conversion I was running all the original shifters, derailures, etc. Only difference from the pic below is that I swapped on the OE Mary cranks and BB when I upgraded those parts. Also, no v-brakes on this one either. Running some old school Magura hydraulic rim brakes.

This is how they fit on the T2 on the LJ LoD bumper.

Wife's is a Vassago Jabberwocky SS that just "happens" to fit me too. I don't mind rocking her Neon Pink bike at all.

Mine is an On One Scandal 2x9.

Mine and my wife's bikes. Hand made from a bike shop in Vicenza Italy. Mine (red, white, green) Fox float shock, Shimano XT build package, wife's (gold) Fox TALAS with Shimano ST build package. Oh and in case you were wondering, the riding in nothern Italy is awesome!
