I picked up this Resin skull off of Ebay and drilled and tapped it to use as a shifter knob. I like the way it feels and fits in my hand. I also have a smaller one I am going to use on my transfer case after I modify the lever!

Got a cheapie from Advanced Auto a few weeks back:

But just ordered this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Went by O'Reiley's and paid $42 for a drill and tap set to insert threads in it. Gotta get my $40 out of this so if anyone close to Cartersville want to order a knob that is not drilled let me know and we can hook up and put the insert in for you.

Got the one I ordered off EBay today. Had to drill and insert threads myself.

Turned out good.

bringin it back to life as ive been lookin for ideas as to what i want in mine now that its a 5spd, at the moment i have a smith and wesson 44Mag shell T-handle but not sure what direction ill go with the tcase at the moment.

heres my contribution, the shifters i made for my buddies 85 yota back in highschool, 318 V8 cam shaft section and cam gear, fit the hand amazingly but the overall weight proved to be too much and wore the transmission out after about 6 months so they had to go.....it was a shame cause they were pretty badass IMO, nothing beats homemade.
