My grandfather drilled and tapped these as birthday presents a few years back. I love them. They're much better than my sister's manual Cherokee that has the stock handles.

I see the RockNob is a bit popular. I have been looking at them at www.rocknob.com and they do have some cool knobs. How does everybody like their rocknob and how do they hold up?

My Jeep came with a rocnob when I bought it and I swore it would be the 1st thing I replaced but 7 months later, it's still there, I can't argue with how comfortable that thing is. But IMO it looks like a dried piece of dinosaur crap.

I guess mine's a rock knob - my nephew gave it to me for christmas. He got it from Quadratec. I dig it, it's the kokopelli one, and I like petroglyphs...

Actually, it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."

Just my $.02, but I think it would cool and a little fitting if your 4 wheel drive knob was the 4 ball. Maybe gramps could do that for you.

Big, weighty and metal. Got it at Autozone. I'm gonna switch it out for one that actually screws on... I'm not a fan of how this one required so much work to keep it on. You're supposed to tighten down those screws and its not supposed to move.. well it comes loose.. and i had to keep tightening it.. so I got sick of it and took soem electrical tape around the stick in hopes it would keep the screws from loosening.. wrong. so I had to take the thing apart and put lock tite on the screws... It hasnt come off yet.. But I'm going to replace it.

I do like its size and weight.. fits in my palm snuggly.

Sorry for the poor quality phone pics.
