There is a reason I am a Moderator

All joking aside, I took the YJ out and did a little wheeling, and got stuck. So I had to swallow my pride and call my wife so she could rescue me in the XJ lol

Where exactly is the pipeline? I have driven around in the area but never could find it.

Its actually a ***** to find. I got turned around on forestry roads without a DNR map and it was getting dark so never did get to it... I think I drove past it, saw the yellow pipe markers sticking out of the ground and there was a gate which was closed. I hope the DNR didnt close it down for good.

Make a ranger station your first stop and get an actual paper map of the roads. The google map/mapquest images show actual street names, but most of the trails I was on only have a forestry # on a small marker - if they have one at all.

If you do a google map search of Mountain WI (using the map not satallite image), find the east property line of Nicolet National Forest, the pipeline runs north/south along this boundry. Look for Thunder Mountain state natural area as a reference point, the pipeline is right next to it. When you find the east boarder of the map, switch to satallite view and you can see the straight lines of the pipeline trail.
