Went to the river on my lunch break today to relax since i work about 5 minutes away from these trails.

At first i took a picture just parked next to the river, but felt that i was missing something from the picture

Put it in four and crawled up onto a good little rock for some flare. This is probably my best photo of my jeep yet

I seen you thought this was your best pic of your jeep yet. Looked a little dark to me so I edited it a bit.

Great picture. Where in the U.P. is this? I have explored the logging roads in the Pembine and Dunbar area but never really ventured too far into the U.P.

Just north of the WI boarder near a town called Ironwood if I remember right. The UP is just a maze of trails and state owned logging roads... bring a map, a GPS and extra fuel otherwise you might not make it out of the woods . I was down to my last 5 gallon jerry can before I found a gas station. Its pretty isolated. I also had 2-3 random people warn me about wolves.

I need to get some good maps and do a 3-5 day trip up there again, maybe in the late spring.
