I thought about doing this to my TJ, just not sure how it would look. I actually like the old cj5 renegade hood decals. (Maybe I'll do a photoshop request).

I think that would look cool. I think if you can make it say "Wrangler" in the same style and font as "Renegade" it would really cool.

I got my decals today from PixelDecals.com (also a JF supporter).

They are the old Willys "4 Wheel Drive" logo and a set of Rubicon-style hood lettering that says "CHEQUAMEGON"

I wanted to make this Jeep personal, and since I'm building it to accommodate the Wisconsin environment it lives and wheels in, I figured it should have a name that reflects its design. The Chequamegon National Forest is in Northern WI (what you will hear referred to as the Northwoods) and is the site of the Northwoods Jeep Jamboree. I picked this to keep in the naming tradition of Jeeps - places they go. Laredo, Rio Grande, Sahara, Rubicon, et cetera.

It's pronounced "shuh-WAHM-eh-gun" with a silent q.

I'm quite happy with it.

How many times a day do you get asked how to pronounce that?

Cool name though

Not many since most people around here know the name. Wisconsinites are also used to names like "Oconomowoc" (town between Madison and Milwaukee) and I grew up in a town called Waunakee... oh and there are French placenames too, like Prairie du Chien and Trempealeau.

We're used to it

Duuuuude, I LOVE it! I have been trying to come up with similar ideas for hood decals, that one of your's is great! I won't steal your idea, but it's something that I wish I'd have come up with.

Thanks! I don't think I'd mind if a fellow Wisconsinite used the name... after all I used it because I built this Jeep for WI, and if someone else has done the same, then why not?

If you wanted something different, you might try Nicolet, the other national forest that merges with the Chequamegon NF. Or you might try a northern city (think Laredo) like Ashland or Superior.

Here's a couple after the snow on Wednesday
