Well, I moved into a place that has a one car garage while my wife finishes up grad school (a big step up from the apartment), and it's already waaaay to small. I think I might skip the 2 car garage and when we buy our first house I'm going to make sure I get something that can hold at least 4 vehicles

Between my new motorcycle, my tools and desperate need for a workbench, and the '77 bronco that sitting in there I can barely get anything done!

Here's my garage:

It's a three car stuffed mostly with tools and stuff...

I've also got a 25'x50' carport next to it where I keep the motorhome and the boat. In nicer weather I'll setup to work on the Jeep behind to motorhome, but run to the garage when winter hits (you know how bad those So Cal winters can be! )

That's my buddy and his jeep; the carport is behind...

I'm in the same boat as you with an unfinished garage with too low a door and ceiling (7' & 9'). My plan is to literally lift the entire garage off it's block foundation, add 6 more feet of either block or wooden wall, then sit the building back down. Once that's done, it'll get a new fitting door, insulation and drywall.

Then...

Since my 26' x 26' garage only has a single door on one side, I plan on putting a loft/lounge upstairs on one side with a railing overlooking the garage below. The tall side will get a 4-post lift.

Oh, and nice Dub.

CZJ.

So I installed the flux capacitor but the Jeep just won't do 88 mph.
