fyi...i originally did the floor about 4-5 years ago.

heres what i do to keep the floor looking good.....

every once and a while, or after a particulary dirty weekend in the garage ( like the weekend i lifted my jeep with a friend from the forum here ) i just mop the floor with a mixture of simple green and purple power. i let that mix sit on the floor for about 15 minutes or so, and then i just use a hose or my power washer to rinse it all out.

if you want things to last you gotta take care of them.

It's pretty easy to do, aside from the prep work which can greatly vary depending on the current condition of your floor, ( about as hard as painting a wall ). It's held up great over the years. Every so often I'll take a mop to it with some clear polyeurathane top coat ( avail at walmart for under 20 ), and that leaves a super glossy/ wet look finish on the floor. If you need any more help or info feel free to pm me.
Seriously? it looks like Marble flooring, so its just painting your conceret floor? what other color options are there?

I need a bigger garage. Usually the wife parks on one side with her Beetle, and I park one on the other side, and leave one outside. If she leaves and I am home I pull my other one in.

This is my dad's garage, we're still working on getting it done. It's attached to a 1 car garage, I'll have to ask him exactly how long it is.

Wow. That's pretty impressive. I'll have to give the mix a try. We have a faucet set up for the back and ran to the house, just need to put in a "T" so it actually get water. That's gonna be a spring project. It would be so nice to have access to water in the back.

2 car detached, kerosene heat for the winter. A little hard to see from the photos, I don't have a clear shot of the whole garage, just of the various projects I'm working on. My junk piles are as dynamic as the are numerous, I move stuff from one side to the other when I need space. Maybe this summer I will actually have it cleaned out, haha

My friend working on his civic turbo... Interesting project

Some serious looking garages in here! I like it! I'll have to snap a photo of my oh so not impressive garage tonight. I just moved into a new house and have a one car garage for the first time, so I'm lacking in the tools department. Whats even worse is the jeep doesn't even get parked in there the wife's car does

I guess her car is newer and more expensive than my Jeep....

That's not as bad as me. My GF & I both park in the driveway, and my freaking parts Jeep lives in the garage.

And this my friends is why i'm so jealous I guess it's better than no garage. When I work on the jeep I kick the wife out, and pull in half way so that I have some room to work. Notice the shear lack of tools and toys. It's something I'm working on building up, day by day, project by project. I'm about to invest in my first crafstman workbench and tool cart. I'm running out of places to keep my tools, and find it hard to find tools mid project because I don't have a workbench to set things on, so tools tend to get placed somewhere random
