Working on fixing the photo. I try to keep my Jeep upright.
Awesome dog! I grew up with Old English Sheepdogs! My folks had a pair named Higgins and Heather! They were great animals. Towards the end of their lives my folks kept them shaved down though. Love your pooch.
4 of the 5 creatures in the back of the WJ. Three Greyhounds, a beagle mix, and a mini-schnauzer that is probably in the front seat on the g/f's lap. She brought two greys, I brought one and the beagle, and my dead grandmother supplied the Schnauzer. Hateful little b****. The schnauzer, not my dead grandmother.
It's true, you never forget your first Jeep. - 1999 Cherokee - 188,000 miles. DOA.
The Albatross - 2004 WJ Laredo 4.7, clackety lash adjusters, 3 gallons of antifreeze on the floorboard, 109,000 mile daily driver.
She's cute as hell! They are fantastic dogs. Super smart and extra loyal. Some advice? Hand feed her for the first month or so. Maybe two meals a day. Just let her eat out of your hand. And take her everywhere you can and let her see everything you can. Always let her be with you doing stuff. Thats what I did with mine and he's like a shadow now.
He follows me room to room, gets totally excited when he hears the Jeep fire up, snuggles with me at night, lays by me on the couch, and will even get in the shower with me to give him a bath on command! He literally won't leave my side for anything or anyone. The rest of the family is jealous lol.
He's deffinantly my best bud and I wouldn't have it any other way! And it all started with the bonding when he was about 6 weeks old. Especially the hand feeding. It quickly builds trust and a bond between you and the pup.
My .02. I would love to see more pics of the little girl! Especially as she grows up! Super awesome breed. Congratz
