I've been wrenching on my heep in my gravel driveway, and damn it sux! I rent a house out in the sticks, it's a pos, but it's not in town.
Anyways about 50 yards from my house is a tiny garage that's through the yard and over the hill. The old man who lived here kept his yard equipment in it. Never would have thought but my jeep fits!!!!!
After I got the junk out, I'm looking for some small garage ideas. Like if anyone uses peg board? Built shelves..... It will be cramped, but I have 220 down there, so I'll have air and my mig
I bombed my tiny garage with 3 bug bombs and put out 5 boxes of mothballs. I guess it keeps the snakes away, let's hope.
Only black snakes get that big around here, so my buddy will just get the field mice from around the house.
Nothing too extravagant, Just a deep 1 car garage. It beats the cold wet ground in the winter. I have 6 power outlets on one wall, I am going to add an air compressor and a few chucks to one of the walls , and probably 4 8' shop lights to the ceiling for better lighting .
Mines a one car garage too, so skinny, I had to relocate everything to the front. I don't have a good tool chest, so I'm thinking about doing a peg board set up with my tools. Saves space and should save time instead of digging through 3 or 4 small boxes.
40 x 60 garage, with 25 x 40 of it climate controlled with heat/AC. enough that we have the jeep on a rotisserie on one side with still about 6 motorcycles, some quads and other stuff. the other side had plenty of room to work on a vehicle around all the tooling and such. Slowly getting it set up how we want with a tube bender, Vertical Mill, drill press, shop press, tire changer, welder and a nice large tool box and work bench, even a small platform lift as well. looking to add a Lathe and Plasma table in the near future.
