I just like how they filled the original tail gate bolt holes and painted it to match. Latches look better than the fence latches that many people use.

Traded my hard-top for a best-top and half doors + soft uppers. I love it, and it's plenty warm enough for me during Canadian winters.

It only leaks around the rear bars at the base, I've wrapped it with a tug strap to keep the water out and easy access to recovery

Liking it so far, just need to remember to move your seats forward while you're installing the windjammer. After installation you can slide them back again, but it's impossible to do with seats in 'normal' positions

I know the brute conversion is a chop and cut kit, you get a new bed and have to cut the frame to add almost 2 foot. This look just as sweet for 1/6th the price and less work.

half cab question

i'm thinking bout getting a half cab and tonneau cover for my 99 tj.. do you have to move the sound bar to the inside of the roll bar. and does the half cab allow you to put the seat all the way back and recline a little?

You would have to move the sound bar to make the top fit. You can see what it looks like in post #8. Not much head room if you are tall. My lower bulkhead has built in speaker boxes that can be cut to fit any speaker. I mounted the 6 1/2" Polk speakers I had in the sound bar in the bulkhead. Nice improvement.

My top is the extended version since mine is a LJ. It does have more room than the standard half top behind the seats. I can recline mine farther than I am comfortable driving so in the position I like I end up with extra room behind the seats. I think if you had the standard top you would be limited to just a slight recline. Most likely it can stay in the position you are used to but it really depends on how far back you like it.
