I wanted green with a khaki top, but in '05 they only had that Deep beryl green, which was almost black.....I didn't like it so i went with blue, but now wish i had khaki so the scratches wouldn't show.
The next year they came out with more of an army green which was like the one above.....nice |

I noticed this comment yesterday while going through old picture threads. At first I didn't think anything of it. Then this morning I noticed that the window on my TJ is taller. So you are on to something here. It might be that all LJs have the window that lines up with the door glass, but the TJ does go down below the belt line. I've never noticed this before. Good eye. They probably did this to make the hard top lighter. Glass is heavy.

Here are a few more recent of mine. I got the cage done, three suspension seats, all seats tied to the cage and the tied to the frame.

I remember sitting in the dealership with my dad… There was a used LJ Rubicon outside on the lot and what I currently have was sitting inside, brand new with a better warranty. My dad convinced me to go with the ‘new’ one. I really wanted the LJ Rubicon. I love my dad, but I still think about that day every now and then and what I should have done.
Nice LJ's guys... maybe I'll have one too someday ![]()

![]() not much off an offroader, but love driving in the snow and without the top. Short commute, so it's also my DD. Actually my first vehicle bought new. Sold Ravines and GSA and went with 16" Moab wheels with new Bridstone revos.....so much nicer. Custom paintwork around doorframe to match my hardtop. Sirius installed above rearview mirror. Just replaced milkjugs on bumbers. Otherwise stock. Could never imagine myslef in a TJ, just too short. LJ is definately my favorite and most comfortable to drive....although I don't turn as many heads as some of my past 4x4's but who cares... Here are a few updated pics of mine. 2.25bb, still on 31x10.50's, added Rubi rocker guards and a homebrewed bumper.
![]() ![]() Fins N Things in Moab 6/8/08 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm considering looking into doing a homebrewed tcase/belly up skid plate next. I can't get over how much the stock shovel hangs down.
