Yep, they pulled it without warning and gave customers and potential customers a big middle finger when it comes to replacment parts. The only thing they will keep making is the hood.

Thought I would post this up here just in case someone is interested, and I know how hard a nice LJ Rubi is to find. I found it when I was looking for mine a couple weeks ago. It does have a salvaged title but for the right price, it's a nice Jeep.

Looking at their website though, it appears they are continuing the brute kit which was is partially based around the hiline kit. Is there a gray area somehow now where they'll keep the hiline kit exclusively for the brute or is it being entirely phased out?

I was really hoping someone else had picked up the design, it's too bad because I love the look. One last question what grill inserts are those?

The brute kit is the bed, frame and roof, it does not include the highline hood/fenders kit. And I think the Brute kit is gone as well - at least once they sell whats in the warehouse. AEV turned a cold shoulder to TJ owners, and im turning a cold shoulder to AEV.

Knowwhere2jeep.com bought the Nth and TJ AEV parts rights. The quality is just as good as AEV, prices are just as bad . They may bring back the highline kit - might want to ask them.

The grill insert is by Metalcrafters - set your face for stun at the price

Good to know they will continue to make the hood. If I ever destroy mine, I would replace with an AEV hood.

I didn't pay much more than that for my 05 Sahara Rubi, with half the miles and a hardtop and a couple mods with a winch

Speaking of which.... It met a deer last night. Damn overgrown rats
