Got my roof rack mounted yesterday! Went wth the Garvin and I really like it!

Im not knocking your idea, but the fiberglass hardtop is ment to carry zero load (states it in the owners manual). Im not sure if its gonna be able to handle acting as a roofrack and spare tire carrier.

I could be wrong

Thanks man. All springs are a little different and aren't going to give you the same amount of lift. That said it shouldn't be THAT big of a difference.

By rub I'm assuming you mean out on the trail when you have some uptravel. You shouldn't rub that bad with a 3" lift and 35s, plenty of guys are running this set up. I still rub but I need to adjust my bump stops correctly to solve that.

I'm not sure how it's going to hold up to it either. I just don't like the cage that mounts to the windshield look.

Motion-Tek. They are real heavy duty webbing, not vinyl. These would actually hold cargo in if I flop or roll my rig. The buckles are all metal, and powdercoated. No drilling on TJ models and made in the USA. Also, they mount inside of the soft top frame so you can still raise and lower the top without the net getting in the way.

brought this one home this morning. '05 LJ Rubicon under 80K miles and completely unmolested. I named him Elmo
