I have seen one of those before.

Mine is a campbell and it took about 2 weeks from time of order to shipped.

Gotcha. Campbell was a little more expensive and closer to me. Just throwing it up for reference.

If the frame is bent, it will be declared a total loss, just to warn you.

It'll be a salvage title but he could buy it back

BTW if you're willing to switch to a 16" wheel that perfect compromise tire size you're looking for is 285/75/R16. I'm using it (Duratrac) and LOVE it. It works out to 33.1" x 11.30" which is a great compromise for different duties (most specifically the 11.30" width). Yes, it is true that Duratracs are bad for sidewall failure, but this will vary from one size to another. Most of the failures are C-Load 2-ply tires. Some of the E-load tires are 3-Ply sidewall which helps a great deal. I bought my E-load 285's thinking they were 3-ply but they aren't. So far so good though and mine are mostly used for DD and mild offroading on occasion. The next size up (315's) ARE a 3-ply though. They were just a bit heavier and bigger than what I really wanted at the time. Another nice thing about the 285's is they are more of a true 33" tire than most 33" R/15's. For example, the 33 x 12.50 R/15 Duratracs are 32.5" and the 285/75/16's are 33.1". I wanted to go slightly taller and thinner than 12.50 R/15 tires so the 285's just wound up being the choice tire for me. Wheels can be had pretty darn cheap (I can give you a recommendation there, Carolina something ...forgot their name but can get it for you) and you can sell your 15's to recover a lot of the cost like I did. Food for thought.

Hey, I'll buy that spare, seriously. I kept my old 15" wheel because I want to use a lightweight spare (hence the interest in 9.5 or 10.5 spares) at the correct height that will utilize the stock tailgate without major issues. Shoot me a PM and let's work out a deal (shipped to 25312).

PM sent

Buy it back from the insurance company! Both my dad and my LJ are rebuilt titiles. When you buy it back it will be a salvage title, get it fixed and inspected and the state will issue you a rebuilt title. So far we've saved three LJ's from insurance auctions.

Great! About how much to damaged LJs go at insurance auctions? I'm sure it widely varies depending on damage.
