Nice Jeep. I really like the 33x10.5 on the Unlimiteds. Does the BB and BL give you enough clearance? Any rubbing?

I don't have wheel spacers so the tires would rub on full turn without extra steering stops in place. It still rubs a bit on the swaybar, but not too bad.....and only at full flex.

I have 3.73 gears too, but I find the gearing perfect. I don't rockcrawl though.

All good to know. Do you get any rubbing in the fenders. I'll guess you don't. I would think the 10.5 is narrow enough to have plenty of room in there. I appreciate the comments and pictures. Please post a couple more if you have some. Nice poser shots are fine.

I'm hoping to trade off my 99 Sahara next fall for an Unlimited. When I do, I'm hoping to lift it right away. I think I am going to go with either a 2" spring lift with a body lift or a 3" spring lift. Its my understanding that a 2" lift will ride better since the suspension geometry is changed less. So if that clears 33's sufficiently I will likely go that route. Thanks for the info and pictures.

Hasn't rubbed the fenders......the best ride I have heard is the OME 2.5". That with the 1" body lift will clear 33's.

I do a double take every time I see one of those Unlimiteds. They just look out of proportion with how long they are, guess I'm just used to standard wranglers. Those do look really nice though!

Yeah, I hated them when they first came out. Then I kind of just got used to the look. Now I have one kid and another on the way and I want one. Although I still prefer the classic look of the SWB I can definietly see advantages to the LJ. And like the pictures above show, you can lift them a little and they look really good.

Now the new 4 door on the other hand just seems wrong to me. A very capable offroader and usefull vehicle to be sure. But as a Wrangler its just wrong.

You've just been jaded by all the 4 doors you see at the mall. They look at lot better with a lift, tires and some dirt.

What size tire is on the green one. It looks stock with a 31, but it looks pretty good. Am I right or is their more lift than that?

I'm really getting the bug to sell my SWB and get an LJ now. If I didn't just purchase a different family vehicle in Nov I'd probably be look more agressively right now.
