Paid 17k for my hood decals, with 39,500 miles. Serious question: how much do you think it would cost to put a D44 in the front and set up front and back lockers? And what gears do a regular Unlimited come with?

Ahhh yes the venerable front dana 44. I'll spend a few bucks and buy some good 30 shafts and STILL have some crazy cash left over instead of buying that $2x,xxx rubicon. For my wheeling (and a vast majority from what I've seen from my surfing this forum for several years now) a dana 30 will do juuuuust fine. Sure, every once in a while someone will run across a rubicon NOT priced equivalent to gold bars, if you do and the cost over a regular LJ is worth it, jump on it. But a $2x,xxx rubicon? When monkeys fly.. and the Wizard of Oz doesn't count.

Nice! Anything from $10-15k for an 04-06 LJ is a good deal...found several Rubicon LJ's for that price too.

If you look at all the prices quoted in this thread, you'll notice there from all over the U.S. and even Canada. The used vehicle market varies widely from state to state, and even city to city.
My last 5 cars have all been used, and I've found them all over the country. I bought one locally (here in Southern California), and the others were from New Jersey, Ohio, Arizona, and Colorado. Often times I'll find the car I want (year, model, color, options, condition, etc...) for much less in another part of the country, and I've traveled pretty far to get them. In each case, the cost of flying across the country and driving back was still worth the savings.
If you're willing to travel to get them, there are some good deals to be had.
