It is a Gobi rack! Definitely one of the best racks i've ever seen. Great customer service and very solid rack! If i get another jeep, i'll definitely buy another one!

blue book on a 2006 unlimited Ruibcon is 19,500 trade in and 21500 private party. It's definitely not a bad price.

Apples and Oranges.... 2004 Unlimited blue book is 11,000 trade in and 15,000 private party. Thats not taking in consideration the condition and a clean vs branded title.

Seems like a reasonable price to me as well.

I put black Monstaliner on mine. I posted pics on the top of page 343.

I think it would look good. My dad has a white lj rubicon and after seeing my jeep this weekend he talked about doing his. I'm sure you can find pics.

Holy Crap. I had to go and check myself after reading this. I bought my 06 LJ Rubi brand new in 2006 for $27k. 5 and half years and 39k miles later, it is still worth $21,300 not including the mods I have in to it (which I know don't count much when selling). I knew it would hold it's value, but had no idea it was still that high

NUTS to pay those prices. Get a regular Unlimited (for $15,000 with 40,000 miles), spend a couple grand for a pair of air lockers and installation, save yourself all that cash and still be able to go anywhere an overpriced rubicon can go, then use that extra smack to lift it, tires/wheels, winch and go MORE places than that overpriced rubicon can, and still have gas money at the end of the day, plus you've had the fun of building it (what's the old addage, it's not what you buy it's what you build)!

I paid $15k for my 05 LJ with 49k miles, bought it from a dealership in South Carolina.
It came with:
1. Rubicon Express 4.5" Superflex Short Arm lift.
-adj uppers front/rear
-extended brake lines
-Bilstien 5100 shocks
2. ARB front and rear.
- Aftermarket diff cover, I think its a BTF
3. 4.56 gears (I'd prefer 4.88 but it's better than stock)
4. PSC rocker guards
5. Two new and two worn out 33x12.5 Baja Claws mounted on steelies.
6. A bunch of questions about the intelligence of the PO.

It was a great deal 4 years ago, and wheeled good. But now I'm replacing the suspension with Savvy/Currie/Rokmen parts. I can tell the PO cut A LOT of corners on little things, which doesn't make sense considering the money he put into it. When I'm done with it, there won't be any aftermarket parts left over from the PO, except the ARB's and braided SS brake lines.

idk my Rubicon was well worth the extra $. Fun right out of the box. I didnt have to wait to install lockers. Plus you get the wicked cool hood decals.

I know it's the internet, but I can't tell if you think a Rubicon is overpriced or not?

I wish mine had the hood decals. I guess I'll just have to settle for the axles and transfer case...

Ha ha yours sounds exactly like mine. Spent 10k on an 04' with 42k miles a year ago. Had 37's, RE long arms/skid/custom Ben hanks racing four linked rear, lockers f/r, Genright Highfenders/corner guards/ sliders, 4.56 gears (want 4.88 as well) ect ect... And the PO did some weird stuff like bolt on corner guards as bare steel...

I have removed and reinstalled every part on the jeep ha ha check out my build thread...

On topic, pics from last weekend. I guess I don't have any from this weekend in my phone..
