Great pics everyone. Right now I have been driving a Honda Civic SI for 2 years and I have decided to get an LJ. I test drove one on Tuesday and loved it! My only complaint were the speakers but thats an easy fix. I like my music loud and the speakers were kind of low quality sounding. My father has a TJ and I took it to work one day. What a blast to drive. I can see why you all are into them. I am looking forward to talking business hopefully this weekend.

Thanks to you all for giving me the jeep bug!!!!

I pulling this one out of my A**, but I think I heard somewhere that "LJ" was found in the vin code or build code used by Jeep to identify the unlimiteds. Others just call it the "Long Jeep" or LJ.
"LJ" is on the tag under the plastic cover attached under the grill covering the frame. If you do a BBL you'll be able to see it clearly looking down towards your axle. I laughed when I saw the code stamped on a metal tag with anumber after it, guess people weren't bs'ing around when calling it a LJ!

Thanks for posting the pics with the lift and tires.

Isn't it amazing how a few inches of lift makes such a difference?

You look at a stock LJ and say WTF? That's just plain wrong!

Then you look at lifted LJ and it's "Holy Sh*t" "thats awesome".

If they looked like that from the factory, Jeep would have sold 10X as many.

Right when I got my lift and tires I said that they could have come stock like that. But with 33s, they looks huge and I love it!!

2004 LJ with RC 2.5 and BFG 33's

Just installed a RC 2.5 lift and BFG 33x10.50. No vibes and super easy to install. Had to get someone else to put the SS on though.

That is a nasty LJ. The rims are too big but I like it a lot. I'm going to check it out on ebay.

No update on me buying an LJ yet. My niece was born a few days ago so I have been caught up with that. Keep up the pics everyone!!!

Plus that steering stabilizer is under the tie-rod? That is just asking to be banged up on some rocks!
