Lets see some 4.0's with turbochargers!

My buddies and myself are investing into a new project, we would like to see any 4.0 inline 6's with a turbo setup, whether its yours or one you know of.

Any links would also be appreciated

Quick Google search brings lots of results.

You'll want to tune it for low end power, unless your building a mud or sand rig...

In my experience adding boost to an engine that's not designed for it can make it leak from every seal unless
the crankcase ventilation system is modified to let it breathe better.

Also some factory turbo engines squirt oil on the underside of the pistons to help cool them, and an intercooler is
also needed, something some of the kits don't include.
Lots of small details to consider if you want it to live under boost.

but a stock 4.0 with 5 or 6 pounds of boost may live just fine.

should be an interesting project.

Here's my 4.0 TJ with a rick rimmer d.i.y supercharger kit. Adds 5-6 psi boost and really made a big change in performance. I've put 5k miles on it with no problems. Best part is I have less than $2000 in complete setup and only took a Sunday afternoon to install.

Man I'm so jealous of that. I can't find anywhere that makes a 2.5L kit
