Yeah, I was young and dumb. Spent 600 dollars on that cat back. It was SO loud. The only cool thing is the car threw GIANT 4' long blueish white flames. Sure did keep the tailgaters off!

Bought the 'scort for $600, with 156k miles. it was a nice bullet-proof winter daily. I ran the piss out of it for about 6 months while i was storing my truck for the winter. The rockers were gone on it and so was some of the floor but it ran good, some dude ran into me and hit the rear quarter, but I just knocked it out with a hammer, the other guys concord needed headlight and a fender, and i ran into a fence, no damage either lol.

Sold it to a kid from my highschool, he drove it for a month and the rear trailing arm or something snapped, then he put all new struts in it and the strut tower rusted out a few months after. I'm pretty sure it's in the junkyard now, still ran awesome though.

Now I have my xj for a winter daily, got it for $700. It's a 2.5L 5-speed, everything works, just had to replace some of the floor pan. I've been slowly cleaning it up. I plan on keeping this and driving it every winter and in bad weather, so my truck stays clean.

Bought this for $100. Put some brakes, ball joints, minor TLC and sold is for $700. It's white now, needed rockers and had some rear quarter rust.

My girlfriend and I just bought her 2003 Dodge Neon back from her grandparents for 1000 bucks. She bought it 4 years ago and had to give it to them because she got laid off and couldn't make the payments anymore. It sat for 3 years and they paid it off. What surprised me is all we had to do was put a new battery in and it started up like it was never sitting. So now it's our good comfy gas sipper when we don't want to spend a lot of money on gas in our Jeeps. I'm already looking into a SRT4 motor swap for it, it'd be a nice sleeper
