He is a double dappled dachshund "weiner dog"

http://www.dachshund.org/article_double_dapple.html

Luckily he doesn't have any of the negative effects of the process such as blind and/or deaf. We didnt know any of this when we got him but I guess they breed a bunch of them, dispose of the bad ones, and sell the good ones. I am educated on it now but was not when we bought him from a pet shop. In the future we may rescue some of the ones they "dispose" of.

Alright....after looking through 17 stinkin pages of adorable dogs going along for the ride I'm REALLY jealous. I have a wife, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. My lab/retreiver mix is over 100lbs and my hound mutt is about 35-40lbs. Where the heck am I supposed to fit everyone to take them all camping/wheeling? I need to figure this out. Sadie (hound) can sit on the back seat in between my two kids. Where is poor Duke (lab/retriever) going to squeeze in. Anyone else have this dilema and come up with a solution? Leaving the wife at home isn't an option either
