Jeeps with size 285/75r17 tires??

I currently have 35s on my Jeep Rubicon TJ. I just purchased a set of JK rubicon wheels (have the spacers/adapters to make them fit) and have read that the biggest tire I would need to run is a 285/75r17. The tire place told me that if I bought 35s and put them on the stock rims that the center of the tire would wear down quickly due to the 7.5" width of the stocks. So if anyone has a jeep with the 285/75r17 (or any rim size) post a picture so I can see how they look.
Thanks
