Jeep tubs as trailers...

I've seen a few (1 or 2) and I've always liked the idea of using an old scrapped tub...the rear part...as a small pull-behind trailer.

I really like the idea of converting it into a full fledged tailgating trailer. With a gas grill, cooler storage, keg cooler, etc.

So, let's see those cool tub-to-trailer conversions.

I've been very slowly working on one. This was a cj7 frame that was hit hard on the front so not useable and the front of the tub was trashed. It's just kinda mocked up in this pic. Figured on doing some sheet metal for the front of the tub to box it in, not sure yet. The spare tire carrier also holds two Jerry cans.

Here is one I built a few years ago... Had to sell before completion unfortunately. The front gate was a flip down cj in case one wanted to lay something down that was a smidge longer than the tub..
